There are three types of sales: direct sale, draw, and auction. Each type of sale allows different ways to acquire assets. Refer to the following sections for brief descriptions.
The most common type of sale is a direct buy. Direct buys are marked as a “Sale” and display the Buy button. When you purchase an asset it is immediately added to your collection. To learn more, see Buying an asset.
In a draw, multiple buyers enter in a collective pool for a chance to win. When the draw closes, the system randomly selects who receives it. Draws are marked as a “Draw” and display the Buy button. To learn more, see Participating in a draw.
Auctions are open for a specific period of time and allow multiple buyers to place bids on an asset. At the end of the auction, the highest bidder wins. Auctions are labeled as “Auction” and display the Bid button. To learn more, see Participating in n auction.
